A man whose face was left unrecognizable following a shotgun accident has become the cover model of men’s magazine GQ, after pioneering surgery.

Richard Norris had a shotgun accident when he was 22 (15 years ago), which blew off his nose, cheekbones, lips, tongue, teeth, jaw and chin.
He was trying to move the gun from leaning against a cabinet and it accidentally went off.
But thanks to one of the most complex facial transplant surgeries ever performed, his life has changed.
He gets thousands of fan letters every year and next month will appear on the front of men’s magazine GQ.
